Farewell to a year

We woke to a calm stillness near midday, in hugs and kisses. It is a holiday much needed.
Yesterday we walked to the Pinnacles on Phillip island, magnificent rocks that surfaced from the core of the earth 360million years ago. We are so tiny in comparison, in both time and space.
2011 has been fairly uneventful, the majority of changes, I supposed, occurred on the inside. I now live by the seaside, work by the seaside. I spend a lot of time driving between Melbourne and the peninsula. I think about what I want to do with my life. I realized for the first time, through an encounter this year, the emotional influence other people can exert on you, and the power that lies in the choices we make.
I am in love, one that grows and grows. Love without depending. I am thankful.
