I spent the weekend with Dean. Two days of driving to the city, parked my car in Clifton Hill, then walked the streets of Fitzroy and the CBD. Just like two winters ago. It was cold and windy, we walked and walked, finishing the rolls of film we wanted to finish, stopping on doorsteps to kiss and hug. I am at peace, happy and centered. I love how his hand always find mine, without even looking.
It hailed horizontal today. There is something particularly calming about rainy bad weather days- to me it is a certain quiet beauty not easily appreciated. I had tea in a warm pizza shop near uni- watching pedestrians whipped by the hail scurrying for cover, the conversation was on what the future promises. It's not a bridge burned, just bygones. And I'm glad.
