melbourne i love you
a definite must-see for:
Quaint Victorian terraces, inner city suburbs, A2.272 trams, Melbourne skyline, yachts bobbing in the bay, and the good old former Royal Women's (transformed into the fictitious Melbourne Children's hospital), right next door to the dental school, and my favourite- glimpses of the Arts centre, at the busy corner of Grattan and Swanston.
I love James Nesbitt's performance as a dad whose positive and happy exterior transforms the final days of his son Finn, and the staircase scene, where he embraces a very distraught Finn- still a child but forced to confront mortality- and assures him that he is not alone, that they are in it together. And I totally dig his Irish accent.
